In the dead night of April 14 2014 in Chibok town northeast Nigeria an extremist group known as Boko Haram went to a boarding school and kidnapped over 270 female students. About 50 of them were able to escape, 3 are being reported dead, while 18 fell deathly ill due to snake bites in the dreadful forest of Sambisa. Not only has the continued updates on these girls been devastating we have learned that 8 more girls were kidnapped by the same group in a town close to Chibok in early May.
We are committed to raising awareness of this issue and garner financial resources to aide in the rehabilitation and medical costs for the girls that have managed to escape
